Scorpio in 2008-2009 Dear Scorpio, While the rest of the world wastes valuable time worrying and fretting about the economy you will roll up your sleeves and rise to the occasion. They do not call you “the survivor” for nothing! As many difficult aspects begin to dissipate, your sharp instincts begin to kick in. Scrutinize your debts for the duration of 2008. Formulate a new game plan. Debt is something you deeply dislike. By taking the bull by the horns you can buy some freedom. Compare everything from your mortg*ge rates to insurance options. Aries (March 21st – April 20th) As the Full Moon draws near, your attention will turn to finances, property and earnings. The Sun will be in Scorpio and the Moon in Taurus on the 13th. Both of these signs represent income and joint holdings and stretch across the financial Houses of your Solar Chart. Even though you may feel frustrated or fearful, remain calm and analyze your situation. You gain through shrewd analysis, not hasty moves. The New Moon in Sagittarius starts a new cycle of educational and travel opportunities, legal relief and rejuvenates your sense of humor. You will feel sharp and on top of your game. Projects held in places of higher education and spiritual centers prove to be a success. Taurus (April 21st - May 20th) The Full Moon in your sign on the 13th finds you wearing your heart on your sleeve. Emotions have a habit of running high at times like this so be good to yourself. Due to the lineup in Scorpio you have seen your share of emotional, resentful people. In fact you may have felt this way too! If close friends and partners have been experiencing difficulties, lend them your ear. Just remember you cannot ‘fix’ it all. The New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th highlights your Solar House of joint finance, debt, insurance and income tax. This placement sometimes refers to ‘inheritance,’ therefore someone may wish to give you something they own or pass along a family heirloom. Gemini (May 21st – June 21st) The Full Moon in Scorpio on the 13th takes place in the particular area of your chart that represents your workplace, small animals and health. Even though this may represent a difficult time, answers become available that were previously hidden or muddy. Those around you seem to be smoldering with resentments and frustrations that may or may not be connected to you personally. Above all, try not to be too picky or fault finding. The New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th shifts all this high octane energy into your house of friends and close partners. You or someone close to you could royally stick their foot in their mouth! Think and think again before you blurt out what is on your mind. Cancer (June 22nd – July 22nd) The Full Moon in Taurus on the 13th finds you feeling somewhat torn. While your emotions are wrapped up in achieving your financial goals, the needs of a child or children may complicate matters. Cancer, each and every Full Moon can be emotionally confusing for us all; for you especially. Maintain your balance and look for solutions rather than wasting valuable time dwelling on the problem. The New Moon on the 27th flows much better in the grand scheme of things. You will be energized and ready to clean up your house and work area. Use this great energy to accomplish the tasks that require more stamina. Check into exercise and health improvement options. Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd) On the day of the Full Moon in Taurus on the 13th a powerful ‘Grand Cross’ forms across the angles of your Solar Chart. This aspect represents a time to accomplish your goals or set them in motion. As in most aspects of our lives, we need to have our passion in sync with our aspirations. In this case, you will feel like a pilot getting ready for takeoff. Focus and keep your eye on the destination. The New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th highlights your great creativity, relationships with children and romantic involvements. Get involved in your favorite art form. You will be inspired at the very least! This area of your chart is all about fun and entertainment. Indulge a little! Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd) The Full Moon in Taurus of the 13th can be a great time as long as you try not to spread yourself too thin. Take it one day at a time and you will accomplish more than your share of work. Angry, frustrated people have been coming out of the woodwork lately. You cannot fix it all, but heaven knows you certainly try. Get some distance from the problems and try to remain faithful. Your powers of analysis are superb now and will work better than normal. As we move into the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th, your fuse will be shorter than normal. Keep your composure as you may say things now you could deeply regret at a later time. A break in your daily routine will be helpful.
Finances are the subject of choice at the time of the Full Moon in Taurus on the 13th. Tread lightly as this can be a hot topic and has the capacity for a major blowup. Be sure to watch your bills, insurance, credit card and tax info at this time. Check for possible errors and hidden charges. Someone may want to sell you a bridge. If sounds too good to be true, probably is. In sharp contrast, you will be feeling social and jovial around the Full Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th. Your social life heats up, as will your conversations. Be careful not to speak too quickly or make promises you cannot keep. It’s a good idea to watch your driving now, as your need for speed can result in a ticket. Scorpio (Oct 24th – Nov. 22nd) You have been fired up for at least a month as Mars has been transiting your sign. Be very careful not to go overboard on the Full Moon in your opposite sign Taurus on the 13th. Pent up resentments and emotional issues have the potential to erupt and result in words you may regret. One of your character traits that are not the greatest is your penchant for holding things in. Let your frustrations out a little at a time or it will have a negative effect on your health and relationships. The focus is on finance and security on the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th. Look at this as the beginning of your financial New Year. Make new goals and focus on abundance. You can turn the tide. Sagittarius (Nov. 23rd – Dec 21st) The ruler of your chart, Jupiter sits squarely in the House of money and finance at the time of the Full Moon in Taurus on the 13th. One of Jupiter’s keywords is ‘abundance’ and I’m wishing you a nice increase! If the Angel of Abundance does not fill your coffers to the brim, use the time wisely by working on your budget, looking for bargains and loopholes. If you thought you were feeling antsy, just wait till the New Moon in your sign on the 27th! The word is restless! Between the desire for change and the need to focus on career, you feel stuck between a rock and a hard place! The answer is somewhere in between. Schedule some time off, if only a day. Take a break. You deserve it! Capricorn (Dec 22nd – Jan 20th) The Full Moon in Taurus on the 13th offers you a chance to spend quality time with friends and have a little fun. The only drawback is one who may be a in a grumpy mood and needs a little TLC. Be careful or you may find yourself standing between two folks who are at war with each other! You may be the voice of reason but this feud involves a longstanding resentment between people who refuse to be flexible. A lighter mood predominates on the New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th. This New Phase takes place in your Solar Twelfth House of spirituality, institutions, hidden matters and the subconscious mind. Schedule some quality time alone in prayer or meditation. Aquarius (Jan 21st – Feb 18th) Your physical self will at work on the Full Moon in Taurus of the 13th but your heart will be at home. Folks at work will be in a ‘make it happen’ mode and it can be catching! Whatever you put your energy into will not be done halfway. A lot can be accomplished so long as you remain flexible and retreat homeward to emotionally detox from the daily grind. The New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th is ideal for gathering with friends to hang out or promote a cause. 2009 will be your year so enjoy the preview. However, be careful not to be too blunt or blurt things out too quickly. You are the epitome of honesty but tact will be needed at this time. Some folks may take offense to an innocent joke. Pisces (Feb 19th – Mar 20th) The Full Moon in Taurus on the 13th takes place in your Solar Third House of short trips and communication and your Solar Ninth House of education, travel, legal matters and in laws. Subjects could revolve around money or what others think you owe them. Remember your lesson for the following year involves your ability to draw boundaries and tell people ‘no.’ The New Moon in Sagittarius on the 27th finds you in surrounded by adventurous folks. Even though outspoken types make you feel a little uncomfortable, hop on the bandwagon and have some fun. Work will be hectic but try to be tolerant. This New Moon marks a new beginning in your career. Time for a breath of fresh air!
