November is a great time for all of us to count our blessings. I am sure that even in the hardest times God still gives each one of us things to be thankful for. It could be good health, a wonderful significant other, Pets that love us unconditionally, children, and grandchildren, money to pay your bills, or even great friends that believe in you when you don’t believe in yourself. Let’s make November the month of giving thanks, and let’s live in GRATITUDE for all the blessings we have. I count all of you and blessings and am so thankful that I can help you connect to your loved ones on the other side. As the holidays draw near we all miss our loved ones on the other side and we long to share the holiday joys with them. I know I miss my own daughter Jennifer more during the holidays. Loved Ones on the other side said that they are only a heart beat away. That they are with you during the holiday season, and that they are sending you so much love, they said to tell you to enjoy being in your physical body. Really look at the beauty of the world through your eyes, take time to smell the flowers. Really enjoy the food you eat, marvel in the hearing a child’s laughter. Take time to REALLY feel the love of someone when you hug them. As these are the perks of being in a physical body... Your Loved Ones on the other side said to tell you to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and physical touch while you still have your physical body. Yes, the physical body is a blessing they wish to tell you. Hmm hearing that makes you not feel guilty about eating a second piece of pie, now doesn’t it? I would like to ask you all to pray for my mom, mother in law, and my four legged child named Scooter, ALL of them are ill and could use your prayers at this time… I want to take the time to tell all three of you that I am so grateful you share your love and lives with Jim and me. Scorpio Birthday Profile
A mysterious lady approaches my table, then backs away giving me a sidelong glance. She hangs back as others line up for a consultation. Glancing up from time to time, I notice she is still there, watching me intently. Finally, I find her sitting across from me, totally deadpan and waiting. As the reading progresses, she begins to relax and I know she has taken my measure and deemed me ‘safe.’ To my amazement, a lively, animated, perceptive person begins to emerge! Scorpio, deep as the ocean, is the ‘secret shopper’ of the Zodiac! Brandishing their skepticism like a shield, they ‘scan’ their target until they know it is ‘for real.’ Trust is all-important to them because when it is lost, it is extremely hard to regain. As is true of most Water Signs, their sensitivity is so great they can be crushed if they feel betrayed. Ruled by Pluto, Scorpio can glance at something and instinctively sense the best way to ‘transform’ or recycle it. Whether they choose to be a surgeon, an archeologist, detective, psychologist, or a psychic they look below the surface and dazzle us with their findings. Scorpio in 2007-2008 Dear Scorpio, Forecasts for Individual Signs Aries (March 21st – April 20th) November offers up a few surprises. At the beginning of the month, Mercury goes Direct, ending a time of communications confusion and appliances gone haywire. The next chapter of this story is Mars Retrograde, coming up after the New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th. Mars goes into Retrograde Motion on the 15th and continues its journey until Jan. 30th. Aries, this has a strong affect on you! By this time you might have noticed your patience has been challenged in many scenarios. It is natural for you to overreact occasionally and feel both emotionally and physically stressed. Take it slow and easy. Mars is fully into its Retrograde cycle by the Full Moon in Gemini on the 24th. During this potentially busy cycle, you may just want to stay home and curl up with the cat. The Universe will undoubtedly have other ideas! Pace yourself accordingly and take care of your health and inner wellbeing. There will probably be many choices and options for things to do, but there is after all, only one of you! Take care of business but leave yourself plenty of time to regroup. The whole world might be in a tizzy but you need to be true to #1! Resist the urge to be unnecessarily critical of yourself or others. Taurus (April 21st - May 20th) The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th highlights both partnership and communication issues. At the first of the month, take time to clarify your feelings and do away with pent up hard feelings. Keep in mind that Mars has gone into the sign Cancer. Because of this, one or both of you could overreact. Be tactful and patient. Listen carefully to what your closest partners and friends have to say. Honesty will work wonders now. Built up resentments only prevent our relationships from flowering. It would be helpful to look at this as a new beginning with those near and dear. Mars goes Retrograde on the 15th. Your Ruler Venus is vacationing in Libra. This is just right for the Full Moon cycle on the 24th when we all wish to be relating! The problem is Mars in Cancer Retrograde will ensure that it will be an emotional time. As with any Full Moon cycle, it is time to listen to the feedback from others and strive to be objective. It’s important to remember to refrain from starting important new projects until after the end of January. At that time, it will be easier to get them off the ground and with a lot less turmoil. Mars Retrograde is in your Solar 3rd House, so communication with siblings may be strained temporarily. Gemini (May 21st – June 21st) The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th emphasizes your work conditions and relationship with your co-workers. By bringing harmony to this part of your life, you can create the conditions for a more profitable atmosphere. As Mercury stabilized itself and returned to Direct Motion, you can utilize the information you gained over the last month to help bring this about. Have you been bumping heads and need to establish a better communication flow? If you take the time to do so now, financial profits improve in ways that will be unexpectedly exciting. It is a good idea to work on this asap. Mars in Cancer goes Retrograde on the 15th making it very important to watch your financial dealings. This can create possible delays in transactions from now until the end of January. If there is something very important that you wish to begin, it may help to wait until the cycle is over. At any rate, it would be a good idea to keep an eye on your cash flow during the Retrograde cycle. The Full Moon in your sign on the 24th culminates in your Solar 7th House of partnerships and close relationships. Emotions may run strong at this time but you can learn a lot if you patiently listen. Cancer (June 22nd – July 22nd) Along with the New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th, Mars in your sign continues to stir the emotional pot. After the 15th, Mars goes Retrograde, influencing you to pull your feelings inward. Even though you may not feel as emotionally up and down, it would really be helpful to journal or write about your feelings. The Mars Retrograde cycle will continue until the end of January, ensuring that you will be going over something that you dealt with earlier in September. Until the 15th, give yourself a break and do something that is purely recreational. This is a great time to scan and plan. The Full Moon in Gemini on the 24th takes place in your Solar 6th and 12th Houses. Hang onto your Hand Sanitizer or a co-worker could pass on a lovely cold or sinus infection. At any rate, take preventative measure to keep your health in check. On a lighter note, someone may finally diagnose that crazy ping you hear from time to time in your vehicle. See it was not as bad as you thought! Make a list of all the new projects or endeavors that you would like to start at the end of January. Researching them now will pay off in dividends when the Mars cycle passes. Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd) Around the time of the New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th, Mars is sending you psychic messages aplenty. This planet will be moving back and forth over your 12th House cusp until the end of January. During this transit, you will undoubtedly receive numerous dreams and messages. Some of these may have something to do with those who have passed, while others will revolve around family members who remain with us. Hospitals and places of confinement (such as rest homes) could be part of the focus. In Laws or family members who live at a distance may also come into play. The Full Moon on the 24th you may be feeling a bit compromised. Leos generally feel more comfortable when the Sun is in a Fire Sign. This time however, the urge to get out and play is stifled by the lack of cash flow or the need to tend to other pressing duties. Do not be discouraged. Instead, look for activities that enable you to have some sort of respite or break from your everyday world. Our children may cost us money at this time (as they sometimes do!) so try to set a boundary on how much you will contribute. This short phase may make you more self-critical, so try not to overdo the tendency. Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd) The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th could herald the surprise appearance of an old friend or acquaintance. This may be a friend or even an old flame. No matter, this is a positive thing. Mars in Cancer in your Solar 11th House will draw you out and heighten your need for group activity and social encounters. Saturn has undoubtedly brought you a rather serious attitude and more responsibility, but remember to balance this with simple pleasures. Around the 15th, Mars goes Retrograde and will be ‘tied up’ until the end of January. Try not to launch your new pursuits or set goals until after this time. The Full Moon of the 24th highlights your efforts to multitask both at home and at in the workplace. Clean up loose ends leftover from Mercury Retro and work to develop a temporary new game plan. The emergence of Saturn in your Sign may have triggered a change in your boss or amongst your coworkers. Remember Full Moons sometimes make us feel more emotional. This one in particular could trigger some tears or make us feel less than adequate. Take the information you receive in stride and remember that regardless their appearance, others are feeling just like you.
The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th can trigger a floodgate of financial opportunities. Whether these are ideas or solid chances, look into all possibilities now. Mars in your Solar 10th House will make you feel more assertive and intuitively inclined. As Mars will be going Retrograde on the 15th, some beneficial events or moves may be delayed until the end of January. Working with a partner can be worthwhile at this time also. Believe in the power of fate. At this time you may feel as if a big ‘hand’ is redirecting your life. As you look back on it later, all will become clear. The Full Moon on the 24th may signal a minor health issue. This may be nothing more than a case of indigestion or stress related problem. Other than that, it is almost certain to awaken your inner party animal! Mars Retrograde in your Solar 10th House calls upon you to pace yourself or you risk a good case of burn out! Have fun, get out and be social but strive for moderation this month and throughout the holiday season. Key projects that hold great promise will likely be on ice until the end of January. If you need to expend some energy work wise, do some background research. This will boost your endeavors to their maximum amount of potential after the end of the Retrograde cycle. Scorpio (Oct 24th – Nov. 22nd) The New Moon in your sign transits your Solar 1st House on the 9th. Until now, Mercury Retrograde has been throwing you one curve after another! Hopefully, you found some good buys and had no need to repair every major appliance in your home! At any rate, the New Moon will bring up some intensity or Scorpion ants in the pants. In other words, you will undoubtedly feel restless. Look into new projects that require you to use all of your talents and abilities. This is a great time to use that great imagination or put it to good use. Look around you. What is it in your world that needs a makeover? The Full Moon on the 24th will inspire you to analyze your financial situation. Hopefully, you took a good look during the last Mercury Retrograde. Did you uncover any useful information? If not, Now is the time to compare insurance rates and other monthly bills. You know how you hate to pay too much! Use the Full Moon to do some extra digging. By now, Mars has gone Retrograde (as if we need more!) Scrutinize travel plans. In laws may be especially touchy or have their share of problems until the end of January. Keep a good eye on them. Begin important projects after the end of January. Sagittarius (Nov. 23rd – Dec 21st) Goodness, will you ever be the psychic on the New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th! This transit sets of a Grand Trine in 3 intuitive Houses of your Solar chart. Get ready for a barrage of dreams and hunches! It is a great time if you need to use your imagination or do some healing. Water represents intuition, spirituality, psychic dreams, healing and serenity. Schedule some private time alone or attend a retreat. Spiritual classes would be wonderful, as you love to learn. Keep some paper by your bed and be ready to record your dreams. After a lucid dream, it is best to jot it down and head back to sleep. The Full Moon in Gemini on the 24th, rests in your opposite sign and Solar 7th House. This placement opens up communication between yourself and your near and dear. Be careful not to use too much criticism as Saturn also fits neatly into the equation. You may have been experiencing a growing awareness of the things that need to change regarding your close relationships. These elements can be changed with time and do not have to tackled all at once. Resist the temptation however, to brush off any undue criticism that others send your way. Set your boundaries and everyone will settle down. Capricorn (Dec 22nd – Jan 20th) As Pluto heads toward your sign, the New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th gives you the opportunity to set new goals and focus on the future. Mars traveling in your opposite sign Cancer has a tendency to make us all feel a little more emotionally reactive, so try to cut yourself and others some slack in the process. Spend the night of the New Moon with friends or close acquaintances. Talk about the new things that you would like to manifest in the future. The unexpected reappearance of someone from your past can be a delight but also bring new opportunities. The Full Moon in Gemini on the 24th heightens your awareness and sends you flying in many directions. Hidden matters come to the forefront and you receive answers to questions that may have made you feel somewhat paranoid. Try to resist the urge to launch new endeavors as Mars has just gone Retrograde opposite your sign. Take in the information, let it settle, then plan on acting on it after the end of January when the cycle is over. Mars Retrograde in your Solar 7th House could signify a point of low energy for yourself and your partner. This too shall pass. Aquarius (Jan 21st – Feb 18th) The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th fits neatly in your Solar 10th House. New Moons signify new beginnings of sorts, and after the angst and lack of recognition you endured for the last two and a half years, it surely is a timely transit! Focus on the new elements that you would like to incorporate in your career. Think of it as making a wish on your birthday, with the exception that this one must revolve around your work aspirations. A lovely transiting Grand Trine enhances your ability to communicate with coworkers and network. Make your contacts around the New Moon and watch the magic unfold! The Full Moon on the Gemini on the 24th stresses the need for order in your affairs. You are a positive influence and an asset to any group, club or organization. Now you may be caught short if you do not have all of your ducks in a row. At any rate, many people including close friends will want your time and attention. Make sure that you leave some time for yourself or that pesky cold could build into something far worse. Mars Retrograde in your Solar 6th House may set up delays in communication and seem a bit like Mercury Retrograde. Pets may require more attention now. Pisces (Feb 19th – Mar 20th) The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th sets off a lovely Grand Trine in water. Celebrate by enrolling in a spiritual study group or getting together with trusted friends. Make the day special by reading for each other or scheduling an impromptu reading as a group. Above all, have fun. Learn something new. Buy yourself a brand new deck of Tarot cards and begin a Tarot Journal. Delve into your need for spirituality. Sign up for a special retreat and tell your friends about it too. You will be extremely psychic during this time and more than likely, a bit emotional. Gather with those you trust. The Full Moon in Gemini on the 24th sets off both your Solar 4th and 10th Houses. Undoubtedly, you will be doing a bit of a scramble attempting to be Super Mom or Dad and employee. And of course, you will be trying to do it all perfectly! Please cut yourself some slack and pace yourself accordingly. Mars Retrograde in your 5th House may curtail some holiday spending or ability to be particularly extravagant until after the end of January. A child may be going through a learning experience about friends and self worth. Explain that they be overly sensitive to the moods and opinions of others. The Tarot Card for the Month of November
The ancient Tarot is reflected in many Metaphysical Arts. Astrology and Numerology are two that strongly reflect its influence. Not only can we assign a Tarot card to a particular Astrological Sign, we can correspond it with our Personal Numerology Number or Life Path. If you were born under the Astrological Sign Scorpio or the numbers 13, 8 or 4 play an important role in your Numerology Death is your card! Because the vibration of this card is universal energy, we will all feel it through most of the month of November. The Death card is one of the most intimidating ones that show up in our Tarot Spreads. Most people do not realize that its true meaning is about transformation. Rather than being a sinister omen, Death is the promise of change and evolution. One of my favorite Tarot Decks illustrates it perfectly. It pictures a grim reaper on one side of a stream and a newborn baby on the other. The card is colored in soothing pastels and has a natural and soothing feeling of lightness that most Tarot Decks do not embrace. A key factor in working with this card is our need to let go of the ‘old’ so the ‘new’ can enter. Letting go is difficult for most of us. For Scorpio, it is a tremendous lesson. Death represents some of Scorpio’s and our most difficult subjects. From our detaching from a toxic relationship to getting rid of old possessions, most find it hard to ‘disengage.’ The reward for doing so may seem to be a void at first, yet the best part of the process is when the new stuff arrives. We must first create a space in order for it to be filled. Scorpio, our great survivor does this on a regular basis. When they are ill they may appear to be on the verge of passing, only to unexpectedly heal and hop to their feet. Scorpio can endure the most horrific abuse then become the ultimate therapist and make a difference in the lives of all they touch. I take my hat off to them! Yes, sometimes transition and transformation is hard, if not incredibly daunting. However if we truly believe that there is a life after this plane we can use this example to get through the periodic evolutions of this lifetime. Like the transition of fall into winter, we can learn to flow with life’s natural changes. I the numbers 13, 8 or 4 are represented in your Numerology Numbers, the Death card may apply to various aspects of your life. You are a person who is determined to make a difference in our world and usually do so without thinking. At times you are intense and passionate about your goals, so much so that you will run yourself ragged. Never doing anything halfway, you gobble up life with great fervor. Your main challenges are letting go, keeping an open mind and trusting others. Psychic energy flows through your very marrow.
