The movie Da Vinci Code will be coming out soon. I have always talked to Angels and Loved Ones on the other side and have done much talking to Angel David about this movie and book. I want you to know that my Angel David has said that there is A LOT of truth in this book and movie.

Taurus Birthday Profile

Years ago, to my delight, I came across an innovative Astrology book that described the various Astrological Signs using quotes from famous people. For Taurus, (which I am!) the quote was, “I will stand this ground if it takes all summer.” Supposedly this quote belonged to George Armstrong Custer! After I had a good belly laugh, I admitted how applicable this quote really is! 

Born of the Earth Element, Taurus, a Fixed Sign is drawn to people, places and things that they consider secure. They are patient, steady and reliable. Sounds like your local Boy or Girl Scout, ehh? Well, yes and no! They are sensuous and love their creature comforts. So much so, most would gladly wrestle you for their favorite chair or piece of cheesecake!

Still sounds relatively harmless, you say? Try getting a Taurean to move beyond their comfort zone or push them too far and you will have a red-faced raging bull on your hands, complete with head lowered and horns in full view! Taurus will not hesitate to stand up for what they truly believe in. It is letting go that is the problem!

Whether it is a pair of old shoes, the order of their furniture or personal style, Taurus must learn to adapt, flow, and let go of all the things they have outgrown! The ancient, mystical Tarot harmonizes well with other metaphysical themes. One is Astrology and another is Numerology. Each of the cards of the Major and Minor Arcana have an assigned Astrological counterpart. The interpretations tend to vary from source to source but most remain fairly consistent. Each month we will examine the appropriate Major Arcana cards assigned to the Astrological Signs that dominate our target months. What messages do they hold for us as individuals? Do they reflect the seasons, current topics or events?

If you know your Numerology numbers it can be beneficial to compare them with the Tarot card that corresponds with them. For example: If three is one of your personal numbers, The Empress III has particular significance for you. She represents growth and abundance of all kinds. Naturally creative, you are very tenderhearted and care deeply for others. Brimming with ideas, you long to ‘give birth’ to them and nurture each one to fruition. The downside of this card is the possibility of becoming too protective or smothering your loved ones. If you read Tarot, you may often find this card popping up in your spreads.

For many people, The Hierophant brings to mind a strong, spiritual leader such as a Bishop or the Pope. He is in fact a reminder of the way we take comfort in ritual and tradition. When we experience death or a national crisis, we seem to gravitate to the church or seek the wisdom of our founders. Here we find comfort, closure and connect with our spiritual center. The Hierophant makes us think of the teachings of our elders in both Pagan and Christianity religions alike and others who have gone before us. Some of these traditions have been passed down from one generation to the next and formed the bedrock of our society. It is this very foundation The Hierophant represents.

We look to an advisor such as this to help us make sense of the complex issues of life. In a Tarot Reading, The Hierophant may represent a person we turn to for advice or a time when others seem to gravitate to us for our input. Teachers, instructors, or classes may soon be an important part of our lives. The Hierophant could also infer that we could visit a special spiritual retreat or holy place. On the negative side, this card can represent someone who believes that their way of thinking is the only way and there is no room in the world for any other avenue of approach. In this case, the card warns us of restrictions and barriers or advice that is slanted to the extreme.

If the sum of your birth date, month and year added together reduces down to the number five, The Hierophant is your Personal Card. You are a person who seems to find that people gravitate to you for advice. This subject replays over and over. Many times you will seek advice for yourself and find that spiritual people play important roles in your life. You must remember to ask yourself what traditions or sources of security do you choose to hold onto or let go of?
