Happy New Year Everyone! The Angels said that 2008 will be a much better year for the people whom are learning to live within the universal laws. Many people went through some tough challenges in the year 2007. Don’t look back, just count your blessing and move forward ONE DAY AT A TIME… Claim back the power you have inside yourself to make your life more loving and balanced. Forgive yourself and give yourself permission to slow down, enjoy, life and play. Try this for me... Take the time to look into the eyes of everyone you meet and smile while sending love and joy from your soul to theirs. Doing this will shift your energy to a more balanced loving vibration. How could we manage without Capricorn? Forget Atlas! I am convinced these people hold up our world! Born with a deep sense of responsibility, Capricorn is naturally adept at injecting some manageability into our hectic lives. Ruled by the planet Saturn our ‘cosmic teacher,’ organization, order and discipline are their forte. Their ambition and inner resourcefulness is visible even at a tender young age. From childhood Capricorn displays inherent leadership abilities and is serious and mature beyond their years. An Earth Sign, most gravitate to their first job before others their age would even consider the idea. Gemini (May 21st – June 21st) Even though you may smile and act like your normal charming self, surprise! A sleeping tiger lurks within! By the time of the New Moon in Capricorn on the 8th, Mars has returned to your Solar 1st House. You may think twice about venting your frustration due to the fact that it is still Retrograde. However, if others make the mistake of yanking your chain once too often, they had best put on their running shoes! This particular Retrograde may inspire us to revisit events that took place last September. Incidents or issues that presented themselves then may be resolved at this time. The Full Moon in Leo on the 22nd brings the subject of communication and your family into sharp focus. As the Full Moon takes place in your Solar 3rd House, you will wear your feelings on your sleeve. If others question your integrity or attempt to manipulate you in any way, you will react. How you react is part of the lesson. Will you let your pride get in the way or will you take a long, detached look at the big picture? The answer is to take the middle road. Maintain your dignity but so not lose your cool. If you take this route you will receive answers to long-standing questions. Cancer (June 22nd – July 22nd) The sky is buzzing with change around the New Moon in Capricorn on the 8th. Jupiter has moved into your Solar 7th House. It brings the promise of new relationships and healing for those that are already established. This is the year that you pinpoint what you need in your close partnerships. You will also feel as if you’ve been shot out of a cannon and into the public eye. And you thought that you were going to slow down! This is a great transit for exposure and broadening your horizons. Just be aware that some new acquaintances appear to be powerful, but they are not always what they seem. Your finances will be highlighted at the time of the Full Moon in Leo on the 22nd. A cool-headed outlook will temper your desire for new things. Do not deny yourself but make sure you really know where you stand before making your purchases. Self-worth is another focus. Whether or not you realize it, you do have a lot of pride! So much so in fact, that it can hamper you from trying new things, lest you ‘make a fool’ of yourself. Nice things do not make the person, treat yourself to some new duds or hairstyle. Coddle yourself within reason. The rest of the family can take care of themselves. Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd) The New Moon in Capricorn on the 8th takes place in your Solar 6th House of health, work conditions, small pets and aunts & uncles. If you have been kicking around the idea of adopting a new pet, trust me, the urge will only get stronger in 2008! In fact, one will likely find you if you are not careful. This placement increases career leads and helps you stay healthy. How? If you need good information pertaining to health issues, Jupiter will open the door. That is, providing you do the knocking. If you do the footwork, you will find better healthcare, better diet information and the desire to reach your goals. Around the 22nd or the Full Moon in your sign, you may revisit circumstances that are similar to those that you encountered last September or October. Something may need to be completed or repeated one more time. You may have been putting restrictions on spending or trying to save your money. If this set of circumstances brought you some unwanted surprises, set aside some money just in case. If not, you will be ahead of the game. Whatever the case, putting your foot down with a child or another loved one may be just what the doctor ordered! Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd) You have been feeling more serious lately and with good reason. Saturn has moved into your sign. The bright side is, you will be able to turn your ability to analyze into more of an asset. On the other hand, if you turn this power inward and pick on yourself, you will undo all the potential benefits. On the New Moon in Capricorn on the 8th, you will begin to see the brighter side of your situation. For the next year, you will discover newer, more enjoyable things to do with your free time. Hobbies center on things that are practical and useful. All you have to do is invest your time! The Full Moon in Leo on the 22nd makes for a lively atmosphere at work, sure to make everyone restless and in need of change. If you have set goals for yourself, reflect back on pertinent events that took place last September and October. If you see this phase repeating itself, let experience be your guide, as similar challenges present themselves now. In order to be successful, you must be careful to delegate your time appropriately and refrain from scattering your energies. Rest assured, you will not be the only one who is trying to cope with life coming at you from all directions! Keep it simple.
Your attention will be with home and family on the New Moon in Capricorn on the 8th. During this time, most of the planets are ‘below the Horizon’ in your Solar Chart, making you feel a bit introverted. Involving yourself in home improvement or working from your home is a good way to use the energy. A repetition of events that took place last September/October occurs around the time of the Full Moon in Leo on the 22nd. No matter what the event entails, you need to remember that you cannot please everyone. In fact as hard as we may try, we cannot control everything. Libra is born to keep the peace, but standing between two angry folks can be awfully draining. Even though you deserve a job at the U.N, try to center on your own feelings at this time. Whether you take a short break or take a walk, keep the focus on yourself and your own needs. Scorpio (Oct 24th – Nov. 22nd) The New Moon in Capricorn on the 8th takes place in the 3rd House of your Solar Chart. This position highlights siblings, communication, transportation and dealings in your neighborhood. Mars Retrograde in Gemini is not the best time to purchase a new vehicle, but it would be an appropriate time to begin the search if you are so inclined. When the Retrograde is over at the end of the month, you can act on your findings. As Jupiter has entered this part of your chart, you will become more active, be involved in numerous short trips and have the opportunity to improve relations with siblings. The Full Moon in Leo on the 22nd Takes place in the 10th House of your Solar Chart. In other words, emotions will be running high on the work front. Your feelings will be more intense as you seem to be split between there and home. To makes things even more interesting, your boss or someone you work with will be rather worked up. Try to detach a bit as this too shall pass. Rather than becoming emotionally involved in someone else’s tizzy, take a step back and let it ride. Do something creative to take the edge off. Sagittarius (Nov. 23rd – Dec 21st) By the time of the New Moon in Capricorn on the 8th, Jupiter has taken up residence in your Solar 2nd House. Trust me, we like this! This transit is an indication of an increase of money over the coming year. We cannot guarantee you a windfall, although it would be nice. This transit lasts until the end of the year so make the most of it! A Jupiter transit opens the door to knowledge so if you do the footwork, you will discover helpful information about managing your money, making it work for you and end the year with some money in your pocket too. How’s that for a New Year present? The Full Moon in Leo on the 22nd may put a twinkle in your eye! After all, Leo is about romance, fun and games! On the other hand, the Sun in Aquarius is the voice of reason and logic. Find the middle ground. Take in a cultural event or entertainment that opens your mind, such as a documentary. Socialize, but keep your eye on the road. Mars is in your opposite sign, Gemini and is Retrograding back to the area it was Sept/Oct. Something that happened at that time may need to be re-examined or resolved. Look it over carefully. It may not be in your power to take action, but you will gain new insight. Capricorn (Dec 22nd – Jan 20th) The New Moon in your sign on the 8th provides a helpful pick me up and restores a little optimism that may have been depleted over the last few months. The New Moon represents a ‘new beginning’ in the area of our chart it occurs. This one falls in your Solar 1st House, conjoining Jupiter. You can learn how to present yourself to others, making a better impression business-wise. Now ways to take care of yourself, such as diet and exercise come into play too. By using the energy, you can trim down and become more fit and trim this year. If you do not, we will definitely see ‘more’ of you! It’s almost a given that folks at work have been up and down over the last few weeks. The mood continues to be changeable around the time of the Full Moon of the 22nd. Everywhere you turn, you can feel an undercurrent of energy where motives and intentions are not readily apparent. At this point you may decide to take an unusual approach in many areas. Subjects that were discussed and events that took place back in Sept/Oct will come up again. It pays to spend time reviewing or reworking them. It is a good idea to refrain from launching new endeavors until after the end of the month. Aquarius (Jan 21st – Feb 18th) The New Moon on the 8th joins Jupiter in Capricorn in your Solar 12th House. This will bring up many psychic impressions and your intuitive abilities as a whole. This will work better if you refrain from picking things apart or over-analyzing your impressions. This placement is good for healing on a spiritual and physical level. Make an appointment for a massage or Reiki healing. You could not ask for a better time to clean out the spiritual cobwebs! If at all possible, attend a spiritual retreat or spend some quality time with yourself. Buy a fountain for your home. It will work wonders! The Full Moon in Leo on the 22nd falls in your Solar 7th House. This position highlights close relationships and partners. Those you love the most may crave more of your attention and adoration, causing you to roll your eyes. Meet them halfway but be sure to listen and read between the lines. No, not everyone is going through mid-life crisis, although it certainly may seem that way! The fact is, you have a tendency to attract reactive, passionate people. They are drawn to your open mind and logical manner. It is a good idea to compromise now, but to a degree that you can keep your dignity intact. Pisces (Feb 19th – Mar 20th) The New Moon in Capricorn joins Jupiter in your Solar 11th House of organizations, groups, friends and goals. Think on this. Uranus has been urging you to embrace change and allow new people to enter your social circle. Now the New Moon and Jupiter pick up the torch and run with it. New people will enter your life at this time. At the very least you will have the option to join a group, club or take a class that opens up a new social scene. You need an adequate amount of alone time, but no man is an island, Pisces! Set your personal goals for 2008 on this New Moon. Someone at work will be a drama queen around the New Moon in Leo in the 8th. This person may be acting childish or fired up in some way. Handle this by reassuring them that they are valuable and respected. A little extra attention may be all that they need. Mars in Gemini Retrograde may inspire you to take a step back in time. The timeframe in question could be around Sept/Oct. Events that transpired at that time could need to be reworked or reviewed. Even though it is a better idea to begin new things after the end of January, it can be beneficial to examine anything that boomerangs back now.

The ancient Tarot is reflected in many Metaphysical Arts. Astrology and Numerology are two that strongly resonate with its influence. Not only can we assign a Tarot card to a particular Astrology Sign we can correspond it with our Personal Numerology Number or Life Path. If you were born under the Astrological Sign Capricorn or the numbers 15, 10 or 6 play an important role in your life The Devil is your card! Because the vibration of this card is universal energy, we will all feel it through most of the month of January. Of all the cards of the Tarot, this card is one of the most feared, yet misunderstood. Among other subjects, the Devil represents self-imposed bondage. It suggests we scrutinize the negative things we have chained ourselves to. Our personal definition of the word ‘responsibility’ is another area covered by this card. It asks us, how much we are willing to carry. Are we taking on too much or not enough? Generally, when we receive this card in our Tarot Spread, it is a good indication that we are becoming aware of situations or conditions that are not good for us and as a result are becoming ready to liberate ourselves from oppression. The chains can represent all sorts of negative things we may have attachments. This includes people who are not good for us or who would like to control us somehow. Feeling beholden to someone who takes advantage of the situation is possible also. Addictive issues can be represented here, as the Devil indicates something has a hold on us that is counterproductive to our wellbeing. Whatever subject rings true, this is a card that should be approached with openness and honesty. January is the month for inventory and resolutions. It is the time we are more willing to apply self-discipline in order to improve our lives as a whole. Have we been eating too much? Do we need to buckle down and focus on our job? Is it possible that we need to delegate responsibility to others in order to free ourselves from ‘bondage?’ Take a close look at your situation. Use this month to designate the things that you are allowing to hold you back. If you do, you have the potential to make the most of 2008. If your birth date, month and year reduce down to 15, 10 or 6, you are a strong willed individual who needs to harness your own power. You are responsible, with a need for control. In other words, you do not like surprises! Capable of having a company or running your own business, you will excel when you learn to delegate responsibility. Finding the balance between work and rest is highly important. Sometimes you just take it all too seriously. No worries. You are good enough and capable enough to accomplish your dreams. Just be sure to allow yourself time for a rewarding personal life too.
