Taurus (April 21st - May 20th) Thanks to the Solar Eclipse on the 6th, your mind will be swimming with moneymaking ideas! Do not expect them to take shape immediately however. Gemini (May 21st – June 21st) Even though your ruling planet Mercury is Retrograde at the time of the Solar Eclipse on the 6th, you will be yearning to fly like a big bird! Your intellectual creativity will be operating at a high level but you must proceed with caution. This timeframe reflects back to events that took place last September. It is possible that certain subjects need to be reviewed or revisited. Work on projects that are already on your plate or those which require further research. You may feel frustration because you wish to step on the gas, but you will pay a price each time you scatter your energies or take on too much. The time of the Full Moon is an emotional experience. A Lunar Eclipse also has that potential. This one takes place on the 20th and is in Virgo/Pisces. We will experience an eclipse cycle this month, starting with a Solar in Aquarius on the 6th. This one takes place in your Solar 8th House of joint resources, debt, insurance and income tax. If you have not prepared your taxes, this is the perfect time to begin. Keep your eyes peeled for things that you may have overlooked or paperwork that could escape your scrutiny. Ask questions now. If you are dissatisfied with the person who previously prepared them, look for a new outlet. Act on this after the 18th. The Lunar Eclipse on the 20th finds you examining your responsibilities and obligations to family and significant others. Having a desire to be needed is one thing, but being taken advantage of is another. Do not allow your natural nurturing and healing abilities cloud the reality of your situation. If someone has been taking advantage of your good nature, lay down the law! Female relatives or acquaintances tend to be a bit critical at this time. Not to worry. Your intuition will guide the way. Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd) The Solar Eclipse on the 6th takes place in your Solar 7th House of partners and closest friends. During this time, someone may enter or reappear in your life. As the sign on the cusp is Aquarius, you can count on their being unique, interesting and possibly ahead of their time! Mercury is Retrograde until the18th so it’s best to be a ‘listener’ when it comes to heart to heart conversations. Pick and choose your words and be careful what you post on the Internet! This is a prime time for misunderstandings and mix-ups in communication. Discuss new goals with your partner. Reexamine them after the 18th. The Lunar Eclipse on the 20th takes place in the ‘money’ Houses of your Solar chart. At this time you will need to connect with your situation if only to satisfy your emotional need for security. As the Eclipse emphasizes the signs Virgo and Pisces, you will be able to analyze the situation and intuit which steps you need to take. These signs are also about sacrifice and duty. Weigh them carefully. Saturn will be ‘camped out’ in this house for awhile. During its stay you will set boundaries for yourself and others. Use your head and do not buy into guilt trips. Do not fear. Clarity is on the way. Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd) If you have been suffering from health issues, the Solar Eclipse on the 6th could lend you insight and boost your resolve. On the Eclipse, meditate on your overall health and wellbeing. This cycle also coincides with Mercury Retrograde, which may cause some misunderstandings or missed appointments in the workplace until the 18th of the month. During this time, it is best make your conversations concise and to the point. Repeat yourself if need be. The Eclipse and Retrograde Mercury simultaneously revolve around your co-workers, work environment, aunts, uncles, your health and small pets. The Lunar Eclipse on the 20th finds you making decisions about sacrifice and duty, particularly when it comes to your closest relationships. Since Labor Day, Saturn has been pushing you to define your own parameters when it comes to issues of give and take. Scorpio (Oct 24th – Nov. 22nd) Due to the fact that the Solar Eclipse on the 6th takes place in your Solar 4th House, your attention will be drawn to home and family matters. This may jump start a fortunate turn of events if you have particular projects that have been stalled or on hold. However, be especially careful when dealing with real estate matters, home improvement projects or communication with family members. Mercury is Retrograde until February 18th. This may create miscalculations when seeking estimates and prices. Instead, shop around for better buys and companies that are reliable and in good standing. The Lunar Eclipse on the 20th emphasizes your Solar 5th and 11th Houses. With Uranus and Saturn are in the mix, you can expect some surprises involving children, friends, or other social connections. As Uranus is the ‘wild card’ of the Zodiac, schedules may be turned upside down. During this rather unpredictable timeframe, you may hit on an idea that is innovative and ahead of its time. In other areas of your life you may be tempted to bend the rules in some fashion, but with Saturn in the equation, it is not a good idea! Go with the flow and trust the Universe. This may herald an exciting breakthrough. Sagittarius (Nov. 23rd – Dec 21st) With a Solar Eclipse traveling hand in hand with a Mercury Retrograde, who could ask for more excitement? All of this takes place on the 6th in your Solar 3rd House. If you are thinking about buying a new car, it is a great time to shop, but not necessarily the right time to buy. You will be shocked at the number of deals you will run into! Look around and compare prices until the 18th or a little later when Mercury goes Direct. If you buy a car or anything mechanical before this phase is over, chances are you will find something is off at a later date. This caveat applies to computers and appliances also. The Lunar Eclipse on the 20th highlights your Solar 4th and 10th Houses, bringing both your home life and career into sharp focus. With Saturn and Uranus involved in a tight configuration with the Sun and Moon, we can truly expect the unexpected. One of the best aspects of this type of configuration is that answers to long-standing questions have a tendency to pop up out of the blue. Take a good look at your situation and ask yourself if you are giving too much in any one area. How much are you sacrificing and is it appreciated? Do not let your fears get the best of you. Change is good in the long run. Capricorn (Dec 22nd – Jan 20th) With Pluto in your Solar 1st House, it’s time to own your own power! Aquarius (Jan 21st – Feb 18th) It will be difficult for you to miss the Solar Eclipse on the 6th as it takes place in the 1st House of your Solar chart. This placement represents your environment and individual mode of self-expression. Even though you may have an urge for a total makeover, it is unwise to run to the salon! Instead, concentrate on the way that others receive you. It may be time to express yourself in a new way. You may need to adapt more of a professional air or lighten up and project a friendlier attitude. Whatever you find, wait until after Mercury goes direct on the 18th to implement your findings. The Lunar Eclipse on the 20th takes place in the financial sector of your Solar chart. It is possible to encounter extremes from an unexpected expenditure or a minor windfall. At any rate, it is time to be cautious and be mindful of unspoken messages you get from others. Joint finances or holdings you share with others may come into play. Pisces (Feb 19th – Mar 20th) The Solar Eclipse on the 6th takes place in your Solar 12th House. As this is the House of hidden matters, spirituality and dreams, you will receive a psychic shot in the arm. It is sure to enhance your natural abilities but due to the fact that Mercury is Retrograde, wait until after the 18th to draw your conclusions. As this powerful energy builds, you may find yourself feeling more fearful or anxious. If you tap into your favorite spiritual pursuits and creative outlets, you will find relief. Or better yet, look for new ones! This year you will vanquish some of your fears and the Eclipse is a great time to begin. A number of planets form an interesting configuration during the Lunar Eclipse on the 20th. They will highlight the needs of your closest relationships along with your need to take care of yourself. The Tarot Card for the Month of February
The ancient Tarot is reflected through many facets of Metaphysics. Astrology and Numerology are two that strongly mirror its influence. Not only can we assign a Tarot card to an Astrology Sign, we can effectively correspond it with the patterns we find in our Personal Numerology Number or Life Path. If you were born under the Astrological Sign Aquarius or the numbers 17 or 8 play an important role in your Numerology the Star is your personal card! Because the vibration of this card is universal energy, we will be able to feel its influence through most of February. The message here is ‘hope.’ Life today seems very difficult to understand, but when we think outside of the box, things begin to fall into place. The Star represents new ideas and concepts that broaden our horizons and enrich our lives. A class or seminar in a subject that is altogether unique to us has the potential to throw open the door to change. Groups, clubs and organizations are also good choices. Support groups heal us by enlightening us and therefore change our thinking. Sometimes just acknowledging the fact that we are ready to grow will get the cosmic gears rolling! Making the most of the knowledge you already have by taking it to the next level can be part of the emphasis. You may stumble upon or invent something that is unique or ahead of its time. I have seen this card come up for high school or college graduates who are in the process of beginning a new phase of their lives. What aspect of your life can you take to the next level? Work with the Star by opening your mind to a new way or by being open to new answers to old problems. They say ‘variety is the spice of life.’ If you are indeed in a rut, the time of the Star has the potential to change your life. Look in the newspaper for groups or classes. Enroll in a seminar. Begin the book you know lives within your heart. Follow the Star of hope. It will not let you down. If your birth date, month and year reduce to 17 or 8, the Star has a special meaning for you. You are adventurous, open-minded, intelligent and ahead of your time. When presented with a new concept or idea you seldom pre-judge it. Instead, you will at least look into it or try it, then decide whether or not it is worth your time. Looking at things in your own unique way, you have a tendency to give a rather cool or detached impression to others. Some think you are too removed to approach but once they do, they realize that is far from the truth! This has been a rather trying year as you have been forced to stretch and change your mind on many things. Look at it as constructive change, regardless how uncomfortable it may seem. You are beginning a new phase of life and must let go of the old in order to ring in the new.
