Aries (March 21st – April 20th) The Full Moon on the 2nd takes place in your 5th and 11th Houses. This will highlight events pertaining to children, friends, groups and romantic relationships. Although this is usually somewhat of a social time, Saturn involved in this mix brings up the subject of obligations and responsibilities. You may have to work to bring balance to these areas. At this time, we are preparing for a Mercury Retrograde and are in what is know as the “Shadow Phase.” Try not to make any major decisions until after March 7th. At the New Moon, the Retrograde is in Full Swing. Now is the time to research your endeavors and work on what is already in your plate. Although the New Moon on the 17th takes place in your House of goals, try to delay beginning that new project until after the 7th. It is however, a terrific time to locate any information you need to launch a new project later on. As Mercury is all about communication, it is very important to be watchful for potential misunderstandings with friends, clubs, groups and organizations. Taurus (April 21st - May 20th) The Full Moon of the 2nd takes place in your 4th and 10th Houses. This cycle calls attention to matters that pertain to your domestic situation and workplace. Confusion at work might lead to disruptions at home. Draw from your creativity and strength of purpose. As we will be starting a Mercury Retrograde on the 13th, this is a good time to look into ways to network and form connections for the future. Try not to launch new projects until after the 7th of March. Instead, concentrate on gathering information. Along with the New Moon on the 17th, Mercury Retrograde will help you to take a good look at your job situation. This is traditionally time to ‘research and review’ so analyze your situation accordingly. New outlets can be located or you can find ways to improve your current one. The one fly in the ointment is the potential miscommunications or misunderstandings on the work front. Computers and the mail service can be sources of frustration at this time, but solutions for long term issues can materialize too. Gemini (May 21st – June 21st) The beginning of February brings the ‘Shadow Phase’ of Mercury Retrograde. This happens three times a year and carries potential answers and hazards for Gemini’s. Make it all work for you. For example, if you want to buy a computer, do the research now. Purchase the best buy after the Retrograde on March 7th. The Full Moon on the 2nd emphasizes all sorts of communication and will find you very busy. Strive to maintain your focus and patience. Dig in and polish off long standing projects. At the time of the New Moon on the 17th, publishing, media, short and long distance communications are highlighted. Believe it or not, Saturn is trying to help you learn to focus! Cancer (June 22nd – July 22nd) The Full Moon on the 2nd takes place in your 2nd and 8th Houses. Along with the Mercury Retrograde we are working up to on the 13th, this emphasizes your savings and joint holdings. At this time, it would be a good idea to delay any important financial decisions until after March 7th. Begin to scrutinize your bills and receipts for misprints and potential errors. It is also wise to be more cautious with Internet dealings. Better safe than sorry! It is a good time to research ways to balance the budget. Mercury Retrograde is in full swing around the time of the New Moon on the 17th. This all takes place in your 8th House of taxes and joint income. Double-check your tax data for errors. Take extra care compiling your information. With this cycle, if you are in a hurry, miscommunication or misunderstandings can lead to regret. However, if you do your own, patiently working on them over the Retrograde can help you uncover potential gains. Remember, Retrograde means ‘research!’ Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd) The Full Moon of the 2nd takes place along with the ‘Shadow Phase’ of Mercury Retrograde. This is one of three such cycles a year where miscommunications occur like ‘Murphy’s Law.’ Both take place in your 1st and 7th Houses. Issues here include your need for independent expression and your need for partnership. Be as clear as possible in your dealings with all of your close relationships. The Full cycle can clarify many questions we have on this subject. Be careful however, when voicing your opinions. This subject continues on the New Moon of the 17th, while the Retrograde is in full bloom. You may come to a new understanding with a partner at this time. Remember we do teach others how to treat us. It can take awhile before you are both on the same page. Avoid instigating new approaches until after the Retrograde is over on the 7th of March. Delays are common during this time. Be patient and wait until it is over before you build any long term expectations. Focus on the communication between you both. Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd) The Full Moon of the 2nd takes place in your 6th and 12th Houses. This is traditionally an area we look at to take an inventory of your physical and spiritual wellbeing. Are you taking care of yourself on both planes? While we build toward a Mercury Retrograde on the 13th, begin to focus on these areas. Is your diet working for you? Are you happy with the way you feel spiritually and inspirationally? Use the Retrograde to answer these questions and look for new diets, exercise programs and spiritual outlets. The New Moon of the 17th emphasizes more of the same. Another area these energies can highlight is your work environment and relationship with co-workers. Be watchful for possible miscommunications and misunderstandings in this area. Mercury Retrograde can challenge the best of us and it rules your sun sign. Strive to be more patient with yourself and others and realize that we cannot all be perfect all of the time. Make the most of it by looking into ways to improve these areas.

Scorpio (Oct 24th – Nov. 22nd) The atmosphere at home and at work will have an emotional effect on you right around the time of the Full Moon cycle of the 2nd. Clarity and answers to our questions generally appear then, even if the things it reveals can be a little intense. Be careful how you react to the information you gather during this cycle. Mercury Retrograde is building and can confuse our communications even when we have the best intentions. A profound dream you have now could take some time to interpret. You have been dealing with more than your share of responsibility of late so be good to yourself. Mercury Retrograde sometimes helps us locate the information we need to take care of a long-standing problem for once and for all. Use this time to be a good Scorpio detective and dig for information. Appliances and household fixtures can be taxed now. Shop for bargains till after the 7th. Sagittarius (Nov. 23rd – Dec 21st) The Full Moon of the 2nd takes place in your 3rd and 9th Houses. These placements represent travel, (both short and long distance) and communications. Both represent places of learning, such as colleges, elementary and high schools. You may find yourself spending more time in these areas or on the road more frequently. At this time you would do well to be easy on your vehicle. Mercury Retrograde is in the process of building and its placement points to your mode of transportation. Mercury Retrograde is active around the time of the New Moon on the 17th. Again, it is wise to be watchful for any problems regarding your vehicle and other means of transportation. Your siblings or neighbors take precedence now, as well as teachers and other mentors. This would be a good time to look into formulating a neighborhood watch or any other community based group or club. Put your findings together but try not to begin anything until after the Retrograde is over on March 7th. Capricorn (Dec 22nd – Jan 20th) Over the last week or so, those who love you may have found that they had best not try your patience! This Full cycle arises with the ‘Shadow’ of Mercury Retrograde. Traditionally, this is the time to gather the facts, but not the time to implement your findings. Pay attention to your partner’s comments and needs. Look at the whole picture and strive to understand what, if anything, is out of balance. Learn from this phase. Anyone remember the rock musical, Hair? At the end of each performance, the entire cast disrobed! Their shameless nudity was a complete shock to theatergoers nationwide. Highly controversial, it joyfully proclaimed, ‘Fasten your seatbelts, folks! A new era has arrived, with or without your permission!’ For an entire generation, the ‘Age of Aquarius’ had begun.
