As I type this newsletter I have a cute deer looking in my window. Gosh, I never get tired of the blessings nature brings. I only wish it would finally start warming up here in Michigan (we got snow today again) I can’t seem to meditate outside with all of the animals when there is snow as my backside gets to cold :)

The love of Mother Earth and her animals brings my way, always makes my soul smile, and I look forward to once again being able to sit on the grass and embrace the energy.

Aries Birthday Profile 

Those born under the sign of Aries are often said to be the leaders and pioneers of the zodiac. They are well-know the world over for their headstrong, energetic personalities and their well-developed sense of adventure. Ever confident in the knowledge that they know the best way forward and absolutely fearless when it comes to any possible risks involved in a given endeavor, an Aries native is never the type to shy away from a challenge. Forecasts for Individual Signs – April 2009

Aries (March 21st - April 20th)

When Venus turned retrograde after the first week of March, many Aries natives may have found themselves facing some frustration on the relationship front. The beginning of April will bring with it more of the same, but never despair, dear Aries. On the 17th of April, Venus will turn direct again and you may find that many of the problems that have been plaguing you for the past month seem to dissipate as quickly as they arrived in the first place. You’ll have a much easier time getting your point across, being understood, and getting what you need from your partner. In the meantime, try to keep in mind that your partner does indeed care for you and has your best interests at heart no matter how frustrating things may seem.

A few days later on the 21st, Venus will form a conjunction with Mars after going direct. This will be a very creative, energetic influence for all, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself coming up with all kinds of ideas you can’t wait to put into action. Not that any ram is ever short of either energy or ideas, but you’ll find you’re feeling even more productive than usual. Some Aries natives may also find that around this time a past relationship or friendship suddenly grabs your attention. However, this is more likely to be a pleasant occurrence as opposed to an obstacle.

There is also a strong focus on money for Aries this month as well. As is the case with your relationships, any frustrations or annoyances you might have had on the financial front will also begin to improve once Venus turns direct. Any major moves or plans you’ve been considering in this area of your life are best postponed until then. You’ll also find you’ll be feeling especially enthusiastic in regards to career and personal projects around the end of the month. Be sure to make the most of it and grab any opportunities that come along with both hands!

Taurus (April 20th - May 20th)

Last month found many Taurus natives in a more reserved, solitary mood for a number of different reasons. The month of April opens to more of the same for the great majority of you, but you’ll find that after the first week or so, you’ll be presented with more opportunities to be a bit more social. You’ll find that friends, love ones, or even colleagues may come around and try to entice you to come out and play a bit more around the 10th and for a few days afterwards. At the very least, they seem attentive to your needs. Why not come out of your shell a little bit around then and see what happens? You’re due for a bit of fun.

Love and romance, on the other hand, are apt to be a little more challenging at the beginning of the month. With Venus remaining retrograde until the 17th, some miscommunications or frustrations when it comes to getting your needs met to your liking are likely if you’re attached. If you’re single, you may find that you’re having trouble making the impression you want when it comes to the dating scene. However, these matters will improve considerably after the 17th. Around the full moon in Libra on the 9th, you may find that a situation regarding another comes to a head and requires you to make a sacrifice or two to keep the peace. However, this will ultimately be a change for the better, so embrace compromise willingly. Work or professional projects that have been in process for a while are also likely to come to a conclusion around then, so watch for opportunities to tie up loose ends.

Later on in the month – on the 21st – Venus and Mars will be in conjunction in the dreamy, creative sign of Pisces. For Taurus natives, this means a wonderfully energetic time full of opportunity and energy in a couple of areas. Your love life will begin to improve, for one thing. Positive turning points are likely to be reached in relationships of all types around then and you should be ready for anything. You also may find you’re feeling creative or enthusiastic in regards to personal projects… especially those that are creative or spiritual in nature. This would be a great time to work on such things!

Gemini (May 21st – June 21st)

Last month saw the areas of career and professional life highlighted for Gemini natives. If you were born under the sign of the twins, you very likely spent your March pouring yourself into your job and making amazing progress as a result. However, April will be more about your social life. This will be a wonderful month for catching up with old friends, getting involved in your community, or even just going out on the town and meeting new people. Whatever April throws your way in this respect, Gemini, be sure to make the most of it. You’ve been working hard lately and have definitely earned it!

You may also find alternatively that many people you know come your way asking for your help or advice. However, if this is the case for you, you’re unlikely to feel put out or hampered by it. As a communicative and thought-oriented Gemini, you’re great at solving problems, brainstorming innovative solutions, and giving advice so it’s not really a surprise that your friends and acquaintances know and love this about you. Opportunities to explore new areas of interest and try something new may come your way when Venus and Mars form a conjunction on the 21st. This could come your way in the form of an opportunity to take a class, join a club, or brainstorm incredibly electric new ideas. Enjoy the adventure the universe throws your way around then… either alone or with a friend.

Any issues you may have been experiencing when it comes to your love life over the past month or so are likely to improve this month as well, dear Gemini. Venus has been in retrograde since March 6th, but come April 17th, it will finally be going direct and making many of these issues a thing of the past. If you’re a single Gemini, new love is also possible this month – possibly with someone you know at the office or through your job in some other way. This is especially likely around the 21st – another possible effect of the Mars-Venus conjunction.

Cancer (June 22nd – July 22nd)

It looks like the universe has a beautiful month in store for you, dear Cancer! Professional or business matters are going to be the major focus throughout April and as a result, you may find that these matters are often on your mind or topping your priority list. Although any developments or events that occur throughout April are likely to have their downs as well as their ups, the end result will be a positive one – possibly one that you’ve been preparing for or working toward for quite some time. Keep giving your current projects your all, Cancer natives! Your hard work and dedication are about to pay off in a major way that will please you very much.

Love and romance are also a fairly major theme this month. With Venus going direct on the 17th, married or attached Cancers will find that any current relationship snafus or problems with communication improve dramatically. They may even find that their partners are full of romantic surprises for them this month. Single crabs will find that it seems easier to come across in the way they want to when it comes to the dating scene. Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd)

So far, 2009 has been shining a spotlight on the areas of love and romance for all those lovely Leos out there. Those born under the sign of the lion should expect this trend to continue along that same vein this month as well. Many of you have probably noticed that matters of the heart haven’t been going as smoothly as one might hope, with Venus having been retrograde since March 6th – especially when it comes to matters of communication. However, Venus will be going direct on April 17th, so don’t be surprised if your mojo returns and these issues clear up around then as quickly as they began in the first place!

In fact, the entire month of April will be a wonderful time to take advantage of spring being in the air when it comes to your love life, as this will be a month packed with pleasant surprises, and those of you looking to meet someone new may wind up doing just that when you least expect it. Creativity is also highlighted for Leos this month, so don’t be surprised if this person shares your very leonine interest in art, music, theater, or other finer elements along those lines. The period from the 21st through the 23rd is an especially good period for building intimacy, strengthening new ties, or rediscovering old ones. Make a date with your significant other or intended around those dates and see what happens.

Career and financial matters are also an area of interest for you this month, dear Leo. Toward the end of the month, expect to be presented with plenty of opportunities to put your trademark Leo creativity to work at the office or in regards to a personal project that has money-making potential. Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd)

For you, dear Virgo, April is going to be a month in which the major themes revolve around the many people and relationships in your life. This trend could manifest itself in a number of ways. Many of you will be asked to examine any areas of your life that involve joint finances or shared property of some sort. While this could mean that a business you run with a partner or a project you share with members of a team comes into focus, it is more likely to call your attention to your primary relationship with your significant other, as well as perhaps your other close personal relationships. Pay special attention to matters of joint finance around the time of the full moon on the 9th.

This is also going to be a tough month in which to make yourself heard to the degree you would normally prefer. Normally Virgos like to have things “just so” according to their own standards whenever possible, but instead, you’ll find that compromise is the order of the day. This month is less about you and more about how you relate to others, as well as who you are in regards to the role you play in your personal relationships. However, with Venus finally going direct on the 17th, you’ll find that communicating is a bit easier than it probably has been as of late. Just hang in there and try to keep in mind that a little give and take can be a good thing.

Later on in the month on the 21st, there will be a beautiful conjunction between Mars and Venus in the sign of Pisces. This signals a lovely time during which you’ll very likely be feeling super creative and energetic. Libra (September 23rd – October 23rd)

April is going to be a month during which Libra natives will find they’re presented with plenty of opportunities in regards to both their social life and their professional life. In fact, dear Libra, you may find that the two overlap at this time a bit more so than they normally do. Chances to socialize with co-workers outside of the workplace or possibly through office functions are likely throughout the month and should be taken advantage of. One should never underestimate the power of a little networking or taking the initiative to strengthen ties with colleagues.

Single Librans may also find that their job presents them with a new possibility to consider in regards to romance this month. It’s not completely unlikely that you’ll meet someone incredibly interesting via a work connection or colleague. The chances are also good that this person will be a more creative or artistic type person. As a Libra you’ve always been able to appreciate creative folks, but Venus’s jaunt through Pisces will be inspiring more of an attraction than usual to such individuals. The period from the 20th to the 22nd is an especially good time to focus on romance.

Venus will also be going direct this month on the 17th after having been retrograde since March 6th. If you’ve been experiencing any frustrations as far as getting your needs met or making yourself clear to others, expect these issues to clear up around then. You also may find that after that date, it’s easier to communicate with yourself as well. You’ll feel more certain of your own goals and intentions as a result – especially in the key areas of romance and career. Expect to feel especially creative later in the month, as a Mars-Venus conjunction in Pisces will very likely cause you to generate a bumper crop of great ideas.

Scorpio (October 24th – November 22nd)

The focus for those born under the sign of the scorpion this April will be on the area of finance. However, the finances in question are far more likely to be of the type that is connected to home or domestic life. Creativity is also a major area of focus this month, so don’t be surprised if you’re itching to redecorate or breathe new life into your home base this month. Alternatively, if you’ve been contemplating a move or a new acquisition related to real estate, you may find that you’re presented with plenty of helpful opportunities in this regard as well. This is also a great month to make time for personal creative projects of all sorts.

Romance is another area where you may find you’re presented with plenty of delightful opportunities. This is especially so from the 14th to the 15th and then again from the 20th to the 22nd. Grab opportunities related to either of these areas with both hand around those dates. You may also find that you’re feeling especially creative and energetic on or around the 21st when Mars and Venus form a beautiful conjunction in Pisces. Be sure to at least jot down any bright ideas you have around this time, as they will very likely show up in droves.

Things also continue to move right along on the career front as well, dear Scorpio. April will be a busy month for you on the work front, although you can rest assured that it will be for all the right reasons and in all the right ways. The period on or around the 23rd is an especially good time for career opportunities to present themselves, so make sure you keep your eyes open. You’re full of energy this month, so staying on top of your workload won’t be a problem, however make sure you don’t become overtired – especially from the 25th to the 27th. That would be the perfect time to take a day off for some seriously needed pampering.

Sagittarius (November 23rd – December 21st)

It looks like April is shaping up to be a beautiful month full of fun, opportunity, and all the things you like best, dear Sagittarius! Overall enjoyment of the wonderful gift of life is the order of the day you’ll find that chances to make the most of yours are plentiful and seem to materialize almost like magic. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to get out there and make the most of the fact that spring has finally sprung. Keep an eye out for opportunities to frolic about in the great outdoors or to plan a pleasant excursion or two with your social circle.You’ve been working really hard lately and definitely deserve a break!

Learning and knowledge are also areas where you will find you have as many opportunities to partake as you could possibly want. Sagittarians are famous for their deep-seated love of knowledge, so you’ll be excited to know that anything related to learning, teaching, or both is especially favored this month. Take advantage of this trend and pencil in plenty of time to take a class, update a blog or personal website focused around your favorite hobby, or even just lose yourself in a favorite intellectual pursuit.

April is also a month during which you’re likely to see favorable developments when it comes to your personal and professional relationships. The period just after the full moon on the 9th will bring plenty of praise and appreciation your way in regards to various aspects of your life. Watch for a pat on the back from a boss, or even a few choice words of appreciation from your family or partner. Toward the end of the month, you’ll find the pace picking up at work, but you’ll be more than ready for it. On the 21st, Mars and Venus will form a lovely conjunction, ensuring that you’re full of bright ideas and fabulous solutions.

Capricorn (December 22nd – January 20th)

So far, the year of 2009 has been shining a relatively bright spotlight on the career, business, and financial sectors of your life, dear Capricorn. Most of your attention and energy has been focused here and many of you have been seeing your trademark Capricorn diligence and dedication begin to pay off by now. You can expect this trend to continue throughout the month of April – especially when it comes to brainstorming and implementation of innovative new ideas. The 17th and surrounding days are an especially good time to put particularly bright ones into action, as you’ll find that both your creativity and your communication skill are at their best around then.

April will also see you focusing on matters related to home and family finances. You are quite likely to be dipping into your savings this month and spending a bit in these areas, but not to worry. They’ll be enjoyable and welcome expenditures for the most part as opposed to outflow due to unexpected bills. Think more along the lines of home improvement. Splurge on new furnishings if you need them, or perhaps give more consideration to sprucing up the yard, garden, or patio area to get in the spirit of spring.

April will also be a month during which you’re feeling especially intuitive, and some Capricorns may find themselves looking for ways to grow and improve inwardly… especially on a psychological level and especially before Mars and Venus conjoin in Pisces on the 21st and put you in a more fun-loving, creative mood. Capricorn is a sign that is naturally blessed with finely honed instincts, but you’ll find that yours are especially strong around now. Go with your gut. Aquarius (January 21st – February 18th)

The month of April is full of influences that are lining up to make it a creative, energetic, and enjoyable month for all the signs, but Aquarius is one of the ones for whom this is especially so. Aquarians are nothing if not social, and your many friends, acquaintances, and connections will bring much to your life now. Not only will opportunities to derive pleasure from your connections to others on a spiritual or intellectual level be plentiful, but you may also find that a bumper crop or good fortune, recognition, or unexpected rewards find you through this route as well so keep your eyes peeled for opportunities socialize and connect.

Intellectualism and knowledge are also highlighted areas for you this month. You’re normally quite the eloquent one, dear Aquarius, but you’ll find that your communication skills are really on point this month – especially after the 17th when Venus goes direct after having been retrograde since early March. Make the most of this influence and consider pursuing chances to share knowledge with others, participate in discussions and debates, or even brush up on your own body of knowledge. You won’t be sorry.

April will also be an excellent month to network and set aside some time to focus on any money-making ventures you may have been cooking up lately. Your energy levels are through the roof this month and your instincts are dead on. Employers, clients, and colleagues won’t be able to help noticing your enthusiasm and ability this month and any effort put in at work will be likely to pay off in a big way in the months to come. However, make sure you don’t overwork yourself! It’s important to enjoy your downtime in between energy spurts this month as well.

Pisces (February 19th – March 20th)

For those born under the sign of Pisces, April is gearing up to be a month that revolves around work, finance, and budgeting in one way or another. These matters will be very much on your mind this month, although this should not be taken to mean that thoughts and occurrences in this area are likely to be worrisome. In fact many of them will be quite the opposite! Before the 17th, your focus should probably be more on retooling your budget and rethinking areas that need your attention in regards to finance. Avoid making any major purchases until after that date.

The remainder of 2009 is going to be a great year in regards to work and you’ll probably first start to notice this trend really presenting it this month. Starting around the 14th, you’ll be seeing some very welcome developments in regards at the office or in regards to your career, dear Pisces. The 14th through the 16th are days when your hard work and diligent efforts are more likely than ever to attract the notice of higher-ups and important clients, so expect plenty of praise and pats on the back – maybe even a raise or promotion, if you’ve been expecting one. Also keep an eye out for pleasant surprises in this sector of your life. These could take any form – even the form of ground-breaking ideas – so pay attention and seize opportunity with both hands.

April will also be a good month to pursue romance or pay a little extra attention to that special someone.
